Lookingglass Extends Market Leadership, Adding Security Industry Veterans as Key Investors and Directors

Arlington, VA – (July 9, 2012) -- Lookingglass Cyber Solutions, a cyber security company whose revolutionary appliance-based platform delivers global visibility for Over-The-Horizon Cyber Threat Suppression, today announced the addition of Don Gilberg, H.P. Goldfield and John Watters as Series A investors. The Series A round was lead by Alsop Louie Partners, an early-stage technology venture firm based in San Francisco, CA, and Vital Financial, a private equity and capital investment firm based in Bethesda, MD that served as a participating investor. With these additions, Lookingglass will be able to expand its footprint in the cyber security and situational awareness sector and position itself for future growth.

Gilberg and Watters bring a legacy of success from their experience serving together as a part of the early stage investor group at NetWitness Corporation. Goldfield and Watters were also members of the NetWitness Board of Directors. Mr. Watters will serve on the Board of Directors of Lookingglass along with former NetWitness Board member Gilman Louie.

John Watters is Chairman and CEO of iSIGHT Partners, a Global Risk Mitigation company based in Dallas, Texas. Previously, Watters was Chairman and CEO of iDEFENSE until its successful acquisition by Verisign in 2005. Prior to iDEFENSE, Watters served as Chairman and CEO of several large diversified investment companies managing principal investments totaling more than $300 million. He has served on over 20 corporate and non-profit boards of directors, including NetWitness Corporation until its sale to EMC.

Don Gilberg served as Chairman of the National InfraGard Board of Advisors, and was recently named Advisory Board Chairman Emeritus. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at Digital Sandbox, a provider of analytic tools and information products. In addition, Mr. Gilberg served as a Series A Investor and Vice President of Strategic Development for NetWitness Corporation, where he was responsible for developing strategic relationships with public and private organizations critical to the company's overall growth.

H.P. Goldfield is Vice Chair of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm, where he provides strategic advice to clients regarding international affairs, international trade matters and general public policy issues and strategies. He also serves as Senior International Advisor to Hogan Lovells US LLP, a global law firm based in Washington, DC and London, where he is responsible for international trade and transactional problem-solving activities on behalf of major US and non-US clients.
